Fabio and Brother Rafael are rated as the next wave of brazilian super talent. The twins play for manchester unted and are highly rated as the next big things in Europe. Rafael is more attacking minded from the right back position and is keeping tabs on Old age Gary who soon should find himself on the sideline as a coach due to his increase in years. Gary has been a good server to the club and now should consider stepping aside for the future of the team. Well 2008 will determine the success of the reserve players as it is thier evaluation year for the senior squad.

gooaltv’s future Star is Theo Walcott

July 3rd, 2008 admin Posted in Future Stars No Comments »

Theo James Walcott (born 16 March 1989 in Stanmore, London[1]) is an English footballer who currently plays for Arsenal.
Before breaking into the Southampton first team, Walcott’s massive potential was showcased in the 2005 MATCH Annual. His performances soon attracted attention from the British media, who saw him as one of the most promising young English talents of his time. There was speculation that Walcott would move to the Premiership and media reports linked him with some of the league’s top clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur as well as non-English clubs such as Real Madrid, Juventus, A.C. Milan and Barcelona.

Walcott came on as a second half substitute on 25 May 2006 for the England B team against Belarus. On 30 May 2006, he made history by becoming the youngest ever England player in a full international by appearing in England’s friendly against Hungary at Old Trafford, aged 17 years and 75 days. England won the match 3–1.

Walcott was a shock inclusion in Sven-Göran Eriksson’s preliminary England squad for the 2006 FIFA World Cup when it was announced on 8 May 2006. Even with first-choice strikers Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen both recovering from injury, Walcott was selected over established Premiership strikers such as Darren Bent (the top English goalscorer in the Premiership in the 2005–06 season), Andy Johnson (the top English goalscorer in the Premiership in the 2004–05 season), Dean Ashton (like Bent, already an established player at England U21 level) and England squad regular Jermain Defoe.

Give this lad another season with the Gunners and milan will come calling in no time. walcott has all the tools to be one of the best strikers in the world. Walcott style fairly simular to the french man Thiery henry but with a little more of a bite. the boy wonder was impressive in his last champions league match agianst liverpool when he ran past 4 liverpool defenders to se up a goal.

Back to Roma in 2004-05, he scored the second goal in the victory in the derby played on 26 February 2006; that victory broke the record of most consecutive wins in Serie A. In the following season he was expected to be one of the best player of Roma, in fact he was also capped for the first time by Italy on 15 November 2006 for a friendly against Turkey. Unfortunately an injury forced him to stay away from the fields for several months. He scored an excellent free kick in this tournament against the Czech Republic. He also played in the UEFA Champions League against Real Madrid where he had an excellent game. That performance earned him much praise from the media and Real Madrid were reported to be targeting him for a transfer soon the game.

Future Stars- Kerlon

June 20th, 2008 admin Posted in Future Stars No Comments »

You can keep you lollipops and stepovers, Kerlon beats them all with ‘the seal dribble’ (flicking the ball up then running through heading it!). Named player of the tournament at the 2005 South American U17 Champs, he has constantly been linked with big money moves to Europe. However, his success at youth-level has not yet translated to the full Cruzeiro team, and he has struggled to find the net regularly

Huntelaar is a striker who plays as a centre forward, or an “out-and-out” striker, rather than as a supporting striker. He has a good technical ability and can score goals with his head and with either foot.
if quality service is provided by Robin and VAn Persie, the Dutch Ace should rise as one of the best players in this tournament.
